Outlook public folder calendar not updating

Requests for authorization to add a Public Folder need to go through your IT Support Staff.The liaison would then fill out and submit a public folder request form .You right click the Public folder and select “Add to Favorites” , it prompts for a name and then appears to add it, but it does not actually appear in the list.
One caution: If the calendar folder is using a custom Outlook form, access the folder only through the folder list.
Office 365 offers several ways to set up shared calendars and shared contacts. Most people use the built-in calendar app on their phones. Some people use the Outlook app from Microsoft on their phones. Then everyone who needed it would be given the login credentials and could add it to their phones.
